Our Current Business Objectives

Our current Business Plan outlines the Association's key objectives and priorities. These are being reviewed during 2026 following the outcome of our sector-wide Prospectus exercise, which did not generate any formal offers for partnership or transfer.

In response, the Association has adopted a new long-term strategic direction focused on growth and stock consolidation. As many of our homes are located within mixed-tenure flatted blocks where we are currently a minority owner, our aim is to increase ownership within these developments over time. This will strengthen our position, improve asset management opportunities, and support the long-term sustainability of Abronhill Housing Association for the benefit of our tenants and the wider community.

Our Current Strategic Objectives

Secure a Strategic Partnership

Identify and progress a partnership with another housing provider that can bring the investment needed to improve our homes, while protecting tenants’ rights and keeping rents affordable.

Continue Providing Local, High-Quality Services

Maintain and improve the services we deliver directly to tenants—such as repairs, tenancy support, and customer service, ensuring they remain responsive, personal, and rooted in the Abronhill community.

Continue to Deliver Investment in our Homes

Invest in the homes we fully own and manage, using available resources to make meaningful improvements while continuing to meet our legal and regulatory responsibilities.

Address Mixed Tenure Challenges

Explore new ways to meet our obligations to tenants living in blocks where we are a minority landlord, including working with owners, local authorities, and potential partners to unlock investment and any funding in shared areas.
